There is no way to like The Two Towers more than FOTR. It's a middle chapter - there's one strike. The anticipation, wonder and awe aren't as high. As the story progresses, we're going to be seeing more and more changes to accommodate so much story.
That said - my second viewing was completely satisfying, and many of my niggling complaints were set at ease upon a second sight.
Before the movie, I scurried about to the Sewing Store (over a week to fix the presser foot cord! Eep! No!) and then to Michael's for crafty supplies. While I Michael's, I was thwarted by the most laconic checker ever. EVER. Eventually, I managed my escape and dashed to the movie theatre.
After the movie, home and to bed, a quick finish up of "To Say Nothing of the Dog" and sleep.
Today:
- free lunch (holiday lunch with other admin assts)
- board meeting this evening
- stress about how much I still have to get done before the holiday
