The facts of the weekend
May. 19th, 2003 02:14 pmFriday night - I could not achieve escape velocity once I had sat upon my couch. So Monte and I stayed in and watched various tv episodes on DVD.
Saturday
I met with a photographer. I picked up applications for waitressing at a couple of places. I failed to buy ant traps. I spent 3 hours scrubbing the bathroom. It is gloriously, sparklingly clean.
We went to see Down with Love (very cute, but not brilliantly great) with Pied Piper and Rachel. We went out to Ping's after, and were met by Birdfigment and JoeChico. We enjoyed our terrific food and enjoyed the great company.
We went home and went to sleep.
Sunday
Slept in.
Got up and got the agenda together. Confirmed a meeting time with Registration head (onecheshire). Ran by Kinko's. Had a good meeting with Registration Head. Had a good concomm meeting. Had good working sessions. Finally left about 5pm.
Stopped by home to consolidate cars with Monte. Headed out to Wick Movie Night. Stopped by grocery store for frozen cheesecake and pizza rolls. Enjoyed the evening, although was feeling rather quiet.
Had stupid headache all day.
Monday
Still have stupid headache. Got up and exercised though which lessened the pain somewhat. Discovered that I have lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks. Go me!
Monte opted to skip out on work early so he seduced me into having an early lunch with him.
He picked me up and saved me from the drenchpour. In the car I got a kiss and a bouquet of roses. Aw.
Then we went to India Palace. Num! Peshwari Naan!!!!
A quiet, sweet enjoyable interlude.
I returned to work and continued to avoid doing any work. I am the queen of unmotivation.
Tonight - we'll do something.
