I'm an asocial loser
Aug. 6th, 2003 12:35 pmLast night I did not participate in National Night Out. I did not get out to the one Fringe show I had tentatively hoped to get to.
But I did get my car across the street to the garage. We were able to jump it, which gave me hope that it just needed a new battery. (Phone call from the garage this morning confirms that diagnosis. Whew!) I should have it back tonight.
And we did get over to Dan & Amy's to meet Isabel. She's TINY. I was never that tiny, literally. I weighed over 6 pounds at birth and she was like 5.5 pounds. She made all sorts of cute newborn faces. I love newborns - they look like grumpy old people.
Tonight - Fringe shows. Tomorrow - Fringe shows. Friday - chiro appointment and then Fringe shows.
Tonight my schedule is "One Woman Show" and "Shut Your Joke Hole" at Heart of the Beast.
Tomorrow is just "The Good Parts" at the Theatre Garage.
I've gotten other good recommendations, but I think I'lljust stick to the ones I've already got since I'm poor.
It seems like a light schedule until Friday and especially Saturday.
Friday is (hopefully) "Exposure" at 2:30pm (I'll take a long lunch) and then "Gwen Hairy Glen Gloss" and then "Sex with David Mann" and maybe No Pants.
Saturday is (I wish) "Vic Volare" at 2pm except I have the MISFITS Open Meeting, "They're Still Outa Step", "Gwen Hairy" if I miss it the night before, "Industrials" and then likely No Pants.
So, if any of you want to join me?
