Oct. 27th, 2003 11:44 amOther random things:
- Monte's mom keeps offering yet more alternatives to the rehearsal dinner. Just. Stop. *sigh*
- If you've been invited, please RSVP ASAP! It's the polite thing to do.
- I think I've finally made it clear to Monte why we need to get to therapy and discuss his mom and how she affects our relationship. (He kept referring to the situation as being between me and his mom until I pointed out that while he didn't want to be in the middle, he is involved. "It's great that you stood up for yourself to her, honey, but at any point did you tell her that she's not allowed to talk to your wife that way?")
- I'm looking forward to Omegacon.
- Stress is starting to hit on the Wedding Front. (Now, I'm picturing a cross between a Bridal Fair and a battlefied. How apt.)
- Today, I am in love with my friends.
- The prospects for directing the high school musical have just improved greatly. I should have it nailed down this week. How cool would THAT be!?
- Apparently, the stars are moving through the "Middle-School Behavior House".
- Two weeks till I move to the other floor here at work. I have alot to get done in that time and absolutely no motivation to do it.
- Right now, I am oddly melancholy. I am trying to decide whether to track it down or just let it dissipate on its own.
- Much drama swirls around me currently. And while I acknowledge that I feed it by talking about it (I can't help it, I love to talk about things. I'm a storyteller.), I'm also tired of it.
- Lingering dissatisfaction finally put to bed between myself and
lucyruthe and that makes me happy. For all the dramas, it is one point on the positive side: Sometimes things can be healed. But only when both sides are capable of communicating.
- Need to call and get tickets to No Pants for this Friday.
- Much sewing needs to be done.
