Reasons why it is a Good Day

Waking up at 7am, not wanting to go to work, and then remembering that it is a half-day today. Yeah!

Going to the pop machine but it refuses my money. Grrrr think I. Do not deny me my carbonated beverage! I hit the Pepsi button out of frustration and get rewarded with a free soda!

Noticing that the sharp lower back pain suffered last weekend has dissipated.

Good social time last night leads to happy mood today.

I finally saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (at the cheap theatre!) and it really is THAT good.

Having "An Issue" seem to be a non-issue after all. Whew!

Further evidence seems to contribute to believing this year's convention ran really smoothly.

Today's Half-Day Fun

Well, I have a 1pm interview for a national commercial. I look like hell, but they want "real people" so - what the hell? Why not?

Besides, all the matinee movies are at 2pm.

Crown Block E theatres.
I have the options of:
Anchorman at 2:10pm
Dodgeball at 2:20pm
The Terminal at 1:50pm
Shrek 2 at 2:30pm

I could also see Sleepover, King ARthur, White Chicks, or The Stepford Wives.
Yeah. Right.

Anyone wanna give a recommendation? Anyone wanna join in?

Okeedokee. Twin Cities Glass Block is coming by the house tomorrow morning to do a look-see and confirm their estimate.
And I've already got the install scheduled for Wednesday morning.

This will make me feel MUCH BETTER about the house. I'm still gonna call about security systems (although getting one will require getting a phone line, which I resent since we've finally cut the cord...).

But if someone wants to break in, they'll have to be much more obvious.

Let the cleaning/painting/moving in commence!

My plan: clean this week. Paint and pack next week. Move the week following. Whilst moving, all easily portable burglar-bait will be locked upstairs until we are actually living in the property.
