From the Cities, take Hwy 36 east to Stillwater. After passing 694, take the Stillwater Blvd. exit (after the 3rd? stoplight past 694).
Turn right.
Go to the first stoplight, turn left.
Go to stoplight, turn right into school parking lot.
Plenty of parking. Go in the doors that front on the circle drive.
Random show comments to whet your appetite:
Stupid boy is still stupid. "The pants are too short!" (The "pants" are Renaissance "breeches" which are short pants gathered below the knee.) So I ask, "Do they come below the knee?" He replies yes. "Then they are not too short." He then stated that he couldn't figure out how to wear his costume (which consists of elastic waistband breeches, a pullon shirt and a vest with NO hooking mechanisms). There is no hope for the future.
The orchestra sounds good. Good and LOUD. We're working on turning them down. (They go to 11.)
Petruchio/Fred is enjoying every innuendo.
Kate is getting suitably shrewish.
The brawling between the two is getting quite fierce.
It's a damned funny script with great music and loads of good Shakespearean comedy to boot.
