windelinaOur news media serves up nothing but soft-core pornography (easily digested "sexy" news bits that have already been processed by other media sources, usually focusing on famous people rather than "dry boring" news - all for the easy gratification and excitement of the masses).
Our government is currently a plutocracy.
Merriam-Webster:
1 : government by the wealthy
2 : a controlling class of the wealthy
The President's cabinet is made up of corporate cronies, each of them having a worth of at least $11 million.
And it seems to me that most of our elected representatives tend towards the higher classes/pay scales as well...
We are currently living in a fascist state.
Merriam-Webster: a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
Not to mention that Mussolini himself described a fascist state as a corporate state.
