windelinaOur room this year was great! I got to sleep in a Murphy bed!!
We had Brandon, Mom, Monte, me, Krista (Chris's cousin) and Drew (my brother-in-law) and we didn't get super crowded or on each other's nerves. Considering the space the costumes took, that's amazing!
Oh! I know what I was forgetting!
We had Masquerade Entry rehearsal Wednesday night before the con. That was the first time we'd actually run through things. And then Thursday night after the Guest Reception we had another reheasal where we added Monte in.
Yes, I taught them everything only days before the con. They were quick and they were good! Brandon had some issues with being Big Enough with the gestures. He did his homework every chance he got. If you walked into the room randomly, you'd find Brandon practicing the Gestures or the Dance.
We also did another rehearsal on Friday, sometime during the day I forget when. We did this one with heads on. I had just finished getting Gir put together too, so we did it with Gir. Krista and Drew walked in during the middle and burst out laughing, which was reassuring.
So, only three real rehearsals to get everything down. Impressive!
