So, I completely missed the Omegacon Party. I had to eat after Masquerade. And then sleep became just as urgent. I was in bed by 11pm I think. I set the alarm for 1:30am. Would I actually wake up and go out??

I did wake up. I contemplated going out. My body fought me on it.

But tradition overruled. Besides - things were happening and I was missing them. Brush the teeth, smooch the sleeping Monte and out the door!

First thing, head to Bridge and await Exec on Duty transfer. I arrive and 433 tells me a tale of a dolt with a sword. Tale is now done. Transfer completed I wander off to see what trouble I can find.

I find no trouble for my six hour shift. This is unprecedented.

I run into Jklumpp and WeaselKing. We go briefly to the dance where we all enjoy the techno remix of "She Bop". Then Connie's, where I play with the spinny thing on the bar. Then we go to Dystopia. Where I get my picture ID!! And another tattoo, on the back of my neck this time. I poke through more room parties. I wander through Consuite.

I end up at Vice City playing Samba de Amigo with Eryn and others. Ethel comes in quite loaded and proceeds to say to me:
"Did you see me in Masquerade? I went out there, and I shrugged off my jacket, and I showed them these (Ethel fondles her breasts), to 500 geeks who haven't had sex in 5 years. I was the hottest thing in a 100 mile radius. It was the best moment of my life."
She then declares that she will return to show me how to really play Samda de Amigo.

I do not see her again until appx. 5am.

I wander out of Vice City and end up in story time in Reg for a while, hearing a tale or two. Then Cheshire and I go to badge the dance (another tradition). While at the dance, I miss a tradition with Pisces. Poop. Only found one person without a badge, and she was immediately contrite ("I left it on my costume in my room!") and left immediately to fetch it. People did not seem surly about flashing the badge when asked. My those badges can be put in unusual places...

I wandered over to Rex I think.

I did wind up in Consuite again, where I encountered Drok.
"Hey Drok."
Drok mumbles at me.
"Aw, you're so cute."
Drok: "Don't you talk to me that way!"
"Fine. Fuckstick."
Drok: "Say it like you mean it!"
Yelling: "Fucktard!"

But eventually, I wandered down to Vice City, which was now closed. I got close to see Ian sitting on the patio ledge. I pass some random guy. I approach Ian, who says to me:
"What's with the guy with the flyers and the mango?"
I *boggle* at him.
"No seriously. Some guy just came by with a stack of flyers in one hand and a mango in the other. And then he looks at us and says, Do you have any tape?!?"
We all laugh. And discuss theories of what would happen were he to achieve tape. Flyers posted at 4:30am Sunday morning at a convention...I'm sure there are more wasteful efforts...

I proceed to hang out with Ian and Jesse for the next few hours. We regale passersby with tales of the mango. We move over to in front of F2E2. We spot Drok making his now-infamous stair-descent-sans-pants.

Much goes on that I do not understand but I laugh at it anyway.
And then I go to bed. For three hours or less because I have a panel at 9:30am Sunday morning...
