windelinaWe awoke Monday morning. Blessedly late.
We packed.
We got things out to the car.
We made arrangements for lunch.
Eventually we left.
Khan's for lunch.
Then unloading the car and returning it to Monte's parents.
Then back to the Shadaton for more hanging out. We're a sad bunch, really.
Didn't manage to get in the hot tub at all.
But we did watch the Opening Ceremony video and its extras. And tell many stories. And do some paperwork.
Tuesday:
Slept in a bit. Realized that I needed to reschedule the walk-through on the house due to mistake in remembering court time. Called RealSarah, "how about NOW?" Roust Mom and Brandon and we quickly skedaddle to house. House looks good.
Lunch. Court appearance. Then finally Spider-Man 2. Yay!
Then home. Plans to see another movie: Fahrenheit 9/11. Monte meets us at the theatre. We pick up Bryan.
Home. Barb joins us. Pizza ordered. Family meltdown, Bryan leaves with Barb close after.
Wednesday:
Sleep in alot. Get paperwork together. Start yet another movie. I think it was Iron Monkey. Go to closing on house. Make plans to walk-through with Monte's parents. Which happens. Then...home? Don't really remember.
Thursday:
Back at work. Stop by house in the evening to change locks and discover break-in.
Friday:
window shop at Home Depot. Stop by house. Go to "No Pants".
Saturday:
Decide to pamper self. Go to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Pick up cajones for post mortem dinner. Num! Back to Wicks for more chatting. Eventually bed.
Sunday:
more movie pampering. A double feature at the cheap theatres. Stop by Rodger's to pick up fabric. Then Wick Movie Night, which was fun.
Monday:
Impromptu Registration post mortem at Chevy's. Margaritas!!
Tuesday:
curtains eat my soul.
There! all caught up!!!
And today:
At the house, I took off the ugly-ass railing on the front stoop. I also changed the deadbolt on the door to the upstairs. I measured things. I took inventory of what is needed (screens and bulbs and such like). I sewed. I became excited about the house.
