I don't understand what you found offensive. He was clearly saying that some scientists (freaks) said minorities were "naturally inferior" and those scientists were - rightly - disproved and discredited. Same with global warming.
That was his point.
I'm not defending him. I'm trying to figure out where the hell you got offended. Except for someone attacking your argument about global warming.
