I went and got crunched last night. My neck was REALLY out. So far out, that the doc even commented on it. And recommended I come back in two weeks again, instead of the usual month. He also suggested that a special pillow might help. I could swear he said a "cervical pillow". He even showed it to me ($70, I'll need to budget for it). And when I got to my car, I stopped and thought..."cervical? Is that right?"

So, I'll go google that in a bit.

I then went home and proceeded to sew some more. I'm almost done with the third of four sewing projects. The first project is mostly complete except for some final fitting details. The second project is complete except for sewing some buttons on. The third project needs a hem, some buttons and trim and that's it. And then there's the fourth project, which should be a lark - except for the part where I have tonight to do it and that's about it. Maybe Sunday night too. And I could find some time Monday night maybe. Still, I think it should be enough time. It had better be.

Of course, there's the other big project to finish: the badging poles. But Monte has agreed to help out with those. For that project I just need to spray paint them. But oh, there are complications.

First, I need to get them from Roadkill's place and they are too big for my car. So I need to borrow a transport.
Then, I need to see if I can find a better place than mine to store/work on them. Someplace with a garage would be ideal.
Then, spray paint and maybe decorate.
Then, figure out how to mount the light on top.
And finally, transport them to the convention.

Nothing is ever easy.

On the good news front, the convention paperwork is getting done. So, it's mostly about the PROJECTS. Yep yep.

No, it's cervical, like a cervical collar. It's the bits in your neck. It's just bad naming that things referring to the cervix sound the same.

cervix is the neck of the womb. cervical means of the neck.

But isn't "cervical cancer" cancer of the cervix, not cancer of the neck?

I bought one from my chiropractor last year. It was $60. It is very helpful except when I sleep standing on my head or fitting myself around critters (2 dogs and 3 cats) who sleep with me. Oh, wait, that would be the same thing!

Not like they're ever home, but... My parents have a garage, and both their cars are hatchbacks, so they can haul long things. So try talking to my dad; he won't be panicking about convergence already, but I'm sure that Mom is.

Okay, I'm really late reading LJ, and I should probably keep reading to see if you solved the badging pole problems, but we have a garage you're welcome to use. Transport we can't help with, unfortunately.
