Two things that irked me this a.m.

In the Strib this morning, a story about a new handgun bill in the State House. It will allow greater leeway and make it easier for people to get permits for handguns. It even quotes a representative as saying, in effect, "we need to get more handguns on the street."

WHAT?!

The other thing.
On the radio this morning, the "personality" talking about how much she disliked Chicago. That Catherine Zeta-Jones can't sing or dance. That Richard Gere can't sing. That Renee Zellweger is the best thing about it! That it is not the return of the movie musical.
This person then went on to say that the old musicals had REAL musical stars like Gene Kelly and Ginger Rodgers - and "while they weren't great actors", they were terrific song and dance people.

WHAT?!

It's a good thing I don't have a cellphone or she would have gotten a call pronto pup. First off, CZ-J can sing and dance, and that opinion is coming from someone who does it herself, which counts for more than your ignorant ass opinion.
Second, Gene Kelly, Ginger Rodgers, Fred Astaire - all the greats - were terrific actors.

Screw you.
I hate people sometimes.
Especially people that disagree with me.

The daily recounting

Last night, I scurried off to the chiro after work. Got myself satisfyingly crunched. After getting hooked up to the Electro-Vibro-Relaxaton. Man, I love that machine. I want one for home. The office assistant/nurse person commented that my muscles were very tight - which I already knew!

Thank god for health insurance.

Then I hurried home to make myself some dinner before rehearsal. I got a call from Steph which delayed me slightly, and then Monte showed up with his family to take possession of my chaise. The place was a pit! Aiy! Oh, well. they might as well know the reality now. Finally, I scarfed down the last of my meat and veggies and hit the road.

I had tentative ideas about seeing a late movie after rehearsal, but ended up retreating in cowardice from the thought. Besides, the only movie I could've seen would've been About Schmidt and even then, I would have been late.

Rehearsal was good. I am now a dance captain! Fear my authority!! {giggle} And I got permission to leave early on Thursday night to get to the Daredevil screening. Woot! Birthday movie for me!

I stopped by Amy & Dan's to feed the iguanas on my way home. Then home to find my door ajar! Past robberies make my reactions hop immediately to adrenaline-charged "get out of my house, fuckwad!" Instead, it was merely a forgetful Monte, sound asleep. Silly Monte.

This morning I got up and exercised again! Yay me! And fixed my lunch to bring with! Yay me!

Over lunch, I need to go Valentine's Day shopping and Littlest Llama shopping. Funnage!
