The Wave of Angst is ebbing

So, I went home and talked to Monte about the various obstacles we are currently experiencing (the date, the BNAT, the ceremony site, ceremony times, etc.)
It wasn't very productive and we were both bumming and not really seeing any quick answers.

I had to leave shortly to get to rehearsal.
And during the drive I came to a realization, made a decision, relaxed my expectations.
So - assuming we can get the 6th to work - the honeymoon plans will not be impacted by the date or the BNAT. We will simply take a really LONG two-part honeymoon that incorporates the BNAT.
Sweetness.

So, that bit of angst is over. Thank goodness!

Random Memory

Right now I am listening to my Metallica S&M cd. It's Metallica playing with a symphony orchestra. I really like Metallica, actually (for a metal band, their sound is very epic and their lyrics are cool). But having the symphony orchestra just makes it ... hella cool.

I'm amused because I'm listening to Metallica at work.

I just got back from lunch with my friend Amy (of "Dan & Amy, the closeted geek friends"). They got married last April, and I just pumped her for all sorts of info. I considered Amy for a bridesmaid, but she's pregnant and will have just had the baby by December - too much to ask of anybody! The nice part - she offered us anything of their wedding stuff that we can use (like the cake serving set, for example!). Not to mention all the great free advice.

And I'm waiting to hear back from 433 about my secret plot. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
