1. What time do you wake up on weekday mornings?
I should wake up at 7 am. Even better would be getting up at 6:30am to exercise first. In actuality, I've been getting up at 7:30 or later because I don't really want to go to work these days.

2. Do you sleep in on the weekends? How late?
I try to, when Monte lets me. But he's infected me with morning person cooties. I've been waking up naturally at like 8am on weekends. Ick! I roll over and ignore it until it goes away.

3. Aside from waking up, what is the first thing you do in the morning?
Talk to the cats, "make the bed" by flipping the comforter over everything, and then getting up to pee

4. How long does it take to get ready for your day?
15-30 minutes depending

5. When possible, what is your favorite place to go for breakfast?
I like Key's for breakfast foods. But anyplace with friends is fine.

Working Meme:
What is the first thing you do when you get to work?

Fill up my water bottle and check my email

What is the last thing you do when you leave work?
Check lj then log off

What do you like most about work?
The people are generally fun to be around and the pay is good without me having to work too hard for it.

What do you like Least about work?
5 days a week. Why can't we have a 4 day work week?

What would your dream job be?
Performer. Duh.

So, after work yesterday I stopped at the Nicollet Mall Farmers Market and bought Monte some roses. Since we were celebrating our anniversary last night, y'know.

I get home and he's cooking dinner. I hand him the flowers. He's touched: "No one's ever given me flowers."

A brief pause while we consider our seemingly backwards relationship.

Dinner was nummy steaks and kale with terrific foccacia bread. And an Australian shiraz called "Woop Woop". With a name like that, how can you go wrong? And for the outlandish price of $6 a bottle! Actually, it was quite tasty. We finished off the whole bottle last evening. Monte was quite unsteady on his feet.

After dinner, while snacking on caramel ice cream, we watched Victor/Victoria since Monte had never seen it. We had been going to watch Run Silent, Run Deep but the DVD Monte rented was hosed. It was so hosed it screwed up the DVD player and we had to turn it off for a bit. Luckily it reset or whatever was needed.

Quite a low-key, enjoyable evening with an early bed time too. *wink*

Of course, I was still late to work this morning. I woke up on time for a change, but then decided I needed to balance my checkbook. I have these work-delaying tactics, you see.

Tonight, we are seeing "The Boyfriend" at Mounds View Community Theatre. My dear friend Chrissy directed and it has bunches of buddies in it. Tomorrow night, "No Pants". And then I will leap into some Fringe Festing. And hopefully Monte will come with for some of them! I considered an Ultra Pass, but I think I will opt for a 5-show punch pass instead.

Don't even get me started on the stupid Nazi Button thing. Gr.

And I still need to find a part-time job. It is now stressing me. Gah.
