Both "Gah!" and "Yay!"
Even though we are saving every penny for the wedding, it has been agreed that I can spend the money on dance classes.
So - I start dance classes next Tuesday night!! I am so excited! Adrienne English-Scrimshaw will be joining me, so I won't feel too intimidated. It's modern dance, taught by John Munger, at the Hennepin Center for the Arts. Only $11 per class (a bargain, say I!).
This will feed the part of me that has been languishing in pain for lack of a show to do. It also furthers my goal to keep up with my training. No matter how busy, I should always be in dance classes and/or voice lessons. Bad Windy, for not being in dance classes and/or voice lessons! But Bad Windy will be Happy Windy soon.
That is the "Yay!"
The "Gah!":
While I have known about it for months and months, I never actually wrote it down in my calendar. What? Why, my friend Crista's wedding, of course! The one I'm singing at. That Monte is photographing. That is in Kansas City.
That is now conflicting with the MISFITS Open Meeting and the Board/Officers Retreat night because I foolishly thought the evening was free.
Because I never wrote down the date on my calendar.
Because I am a dumbass.
I hate it when I do crap like this. It invalidates every adult-responsible-action that I manage to do right.
