Do you think you can get most of your stuff packed up tonight?
Cuz I was thinking...
We could get your stuff tonight and pack it into the car tomorrow morning with our stuff (thus saving time in the afternoon).

Monte gets off work at 3:30pm, then he drives to downtown and picks me up at 4pm.

You could either meet me downtown at 4pm for pickup, or he could get me then we could get you at your place.

Whaddaya think?

Umm... er... okay. That's fine. I'm not planning on bringing tons and tons of stuff. One largeish suitcase, maybe even a medium one. I might want to buy alcohol, but I think that can be done in Austin.

I can't get off work at 4 PM. I need to stay here and run this report thing on this one computer someone else uses. It means I gotta be here until 5:00 at least. I probably won't get home until 5:45 or so. Hope that doesn't ruin plans.

We'll call tonight about stopping by to get the majority of your stuff (so you don't have to take it on the bus).

Whoa, I thought you were talking about 4 PM today. You're talking about Friday, right? Man, I'm confuseable today.

I thought packing tonight seemed a little anal.

Yes, I'm taking the afternoon off. Monte picking me up at home 3:30-4:00ish and picking you up downtown should work fine then.
