Responsibility

So -
I've been thinking that I'd like to get together with a smart, creative, realistic financial planner to discuss my financial future.

Any ideas or recommendations from all you smart, creative, realistic people out there?

We hired a financial planner from American Express. I don't think that's been a bad decision for us, but neither has it been as useful as I was hoping.

Let me know if/when you pursue this if you find it helpful. I need to get a better grip on the short/mid-range/long-term planning that I should be doing.
