Down and about

Took Mom and Bryan (and Barb) out to see Hellboy last night. They enjoyed it alot and it's just as fun on the second viewing. Then Matt's for fattygoodness.

Today - meet with mortgage man.
Tonight - watch Maltese Falcon.

And I am apparently in a funk. The apathy has continued long enough that I think we have a definite phase going on. Mid-life crisis? Depression over life-change (marriage)? Just bored with office work? Just wanting a drastic change?

I could get hair extensions. I could buy rollerblades. I could learn to weld. (That'd be cool.)

Am I the person I want to be? Mostly. I'm pretty okay with the internal bits. It's the outward bits - what I do, my hobbies, my social circles, my clothes - that I'm feeling dissatisfied with.

Of course, if I don't scrape up some motivation from somewhere soon, CONvergence is gonna suck and I won't have a job.

sweetie, you're not old enough for a midlife crisis. if you want some company rollerblading, let me know. I havent gotten my skates out in a while. (welding while rollerblading is counterindicated.)

If you ever want to roller blade around Lake Como, let me know and I will go with you. It's nice because it's a smaller lake (only 1.6 miles around) and it's not as daunting as some of the Minneapolis lakes. Plus it's by me and I don't have to venture into Minneapolis (oh the horrors!)
