I just received my Burning Man newsletter.

Now I'm all bummed again. I think a crazyass sewing project over the winter is definitely needed.

We were planning on going to Burning Man this year - even bought the tickets - but decided that a house purchase was more important in the long run. Saving for the house downpayment wiped out all cash, so we have no funds to actually GO on the trip.
Sold the tickets for more money for the downpayment.

I am sad because I want to go and must wait till next year.

BUT you've got a year heads up and can learn more over the coming year - and that's plenty of time to make a week's worth of playa costumes! ;)
