Here are some pictures of/from the hotel!


This is the view from the window in the room. It's pretty representative of Mumbai.
Here is a closer view of what lies just beyond the high wall surrounding our hotel grounds.
Here is the rather ubiquitous site of laundry hung out to dry. They have grills like this over many windows so they can put things out without the birds getting to them.

Yeah, I keep in touch with a few people in the group. Heard all about the various sides of that drama. Was quite sad, really. I watched the website for a while as some of the remnants tried getting something back together, but that just never seemed to happen.

This (http://www.curryupfoods.com/) is an Indian grocery store (and eventually restaurant) in Maple Grove. Right across the street there's the Kabob & Curry restaurant, which is very very good...and which I *thought* had a website, but I can't find it. Oh well.
