So, I worked a little late last night (still trying to get caught up) and then headed home. Eeep! Cold outside!
Got home and did a bit of 'puter puttering. Gathered up some laundry. Grabbed my new DVD and the leftover apple pie-and-cinnamon ice cream and headed over to hang out with
moneygod.
Upon arrival, minireggie greeted me with an enthusiastic, "Hi Windy! I'm eating a fruity snack! And it's grape!"
The tot was very mellow and low key, and as usual, pretty darn cute.
He wound up in bed fairly quickly, and Moneygod and I settled in with some mac-n-cheese to watch The Bourne Identity. Matt Damon is very charismatic. Not actually good looking, but attractive nonetheless. And Franke Potente! YUM! I really like the movie. And the deleted scenes are pretty interesting too.
It was a pretty low key evening of stories and gossip and catching up and chitchat.
petsnakereggie showed up about 3/4 through the movie and went downstairs to avoid watching it from a mid-point. But he came up later and joined in gossip and chitchat. And regaling me with horror stories of Lethal Weapon 4. Ew. I don't even have trainwreck fascination in ever watching it.
I got home at 1am. Good heavens.
Tonight I have GODSPELL rehearsal. Before that, Monte and I will go over job ads and cover letters. And somewhere in there I need to pack for Supercon.
I'm still trying to decide on my pick for Wick Movie Night. I can afford to waffle because it's still over a week away. I'm trying to decide between the following:
The Game (starring Michael Douglas)
A Harryhausen classic like "Jason and the Argonauts" or "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger"
All that Jazz (Fosse self-autobiographical picture)
Three Days of the Condor (classic action film that I've never seen!)
Red Violin
The Godfather (I've never seen it!)
Much Ado About Nothing (Ken Branagh version, if I can find a widescreen copy)
It's an embarrassment of riches! It's also important because I probably won't get another pick for over a year at this rate!
